Connecting Christians to Their Communities Builds Stronger Communities

I've volunteered in ministry for over four decades and served as a pastor for six years. The ministry opportunities God has allowed me to be part of have confirmed that strong communities start with Christians reaching out to their communities. People need to see that the church is aware and cares.

Active Christians demonstrate substantial positive involvement in communities, often exceeding their nonreligious peers in volunteering and social support.
Key data shows the following:
-34% are active in charitable organizations,
-30% in community groups, and they are twice as likely to adopt children.
-Furthermore, churchgoer involvement in addiction recovery is valued at over $150 billion annually.
